- Before purchasing, measure your object carefully to purchase enough paper.
- The color of wood contact paper aberration is allowed in a different light.
- When hanging wallpaper strips side by side, slightly overlap seams to avoid seam lines.
- You can squeeze the bubbles with a card or rag, or puncture the bubbles with a needle and squeeze out the air.
- It is recommended to use a hair dryer to heat the corners to increase the viscosity.
- To prevent bubbling during install, peel off paper’s backing and smooth to the surface one to two feet at a time.
- Allow newly painted surfaces to fully cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before applying.
How To Install?
- Make sure the surface of the object is clean and smooth.A quick test to determine if your walls are clean: Apply and remove several times a piece of clear scotch tape onto the surface. If you notice dirt or residue on the tape, it means that you need to clean your walls.
- Adjust wood wallpaper to the surface and cut it 1/2″ larger than the actual size of the surface, avoiding it can’t covering your object completely.
- Peel off the backing paper slowly and little by little when stick to the wall or flat surface. Reposition as often as needed. Use a plastic smoother to smooth paper while continuing to pull the backing down a little at a time. Repeat steps for each additional strip.
- If there are wrinkles after pasting distressed wood wallpaper, you can remove it slowly to paste again.Use a utility knife to cut off the excess.
- For an easier install, hang peel and stick wallpaper with two people, one person to help guide and ensure each strip is straight and one to smooth the paper to the wall.
